The cotton in the cotton field belonging to the “G‘ulom Qodir” farm in the Pakhtaabad district of Andijan region is quite well developed. Currently, each cotton has an average of 7-8 bolls. This means that in the future it is possible to get at least 40-45 centners of yield. In fact, the farmer can aim for an even higher yield. After all, from the moment the seeds were planted to this day, he has been working in collaboration with agronomists of the Ifoda company, carrying out the necessary work on cotton care, yield increase, disease and pest control.

In particular, initially the seeds were treated with IFO SEED to protect them from various diseases and stress conditions and ensure their good development. After that, after the plant sprouted and produced 5-7 leaves, nutrients, POTEX, ZEREBRO AGRO fertilizers were used.

– These preparations had a very good effect on the development of the plant, – says agronomist Javlonbek Bo'taboyev. – Our next treatment coincided with the budding period. We used IFO UAN, BIGUS and ANKA SUPER chemicals. In our last treatment, we fed with IFO SERA, which contains sulfur. Currently, the condition is good. After that, when 70-80% of the buds are formed, we plan to treat with IFO KALIFOS, IFO AMINOMAKS preparations.

The head of the farm, Mamatrasul aka, emphasizes that this season he is showing more love to the land than ever before and taking better care of the crop. The reason is that the late arrival of winter and the heavy rains of early spring have created the basis for the development of a number of diseases and pests.

– This year our harvest is much better. We have already exceeded the planned yield of wheat, now it’s time for cotton, - says Mamatrasul Otakhonov, head of the “Ghulom Qodir” farm. - I have more than 40 years of experience in this field. I also worked as an agronomist. Now, a plant is like a child. It requires good care, attention, and, moreover, love. We have been giving this love to the land and crops for so many years, thankfully, we have not been short.

The farmer’s many years of fruitful work and activity were also duly recognized by the head of our state: in 2017, he was awarded the Order of “Friendship”.
