FARM THAT EARNS BILLIONS FROM CAULIFLOWER EXPORTS

According to statistics, more than 21 million tons of fruits and vegetables are grown in our country annually. However, only 1.5 million tons of them are exported. Due to the lack of marketing and lack of study of the situation in the world market, products that meet export requirements are not grown in sufficient quantities. Systematic cooperation between farmers, processors and exporters has not been established. The grower cannot package the crops as he knows how and sell the products he has grown, while the exporter is looking for fruits and vegetables. This negatively affects long-term cooperation with foreign buyers.

However, the Shamshodbek-Imronbek vegetable farm in the Angor district of the Surkhandarya region cannot be included in the list of such farms. This farm, which has set up its business in the right direction, earns billions of rubles a year by directly exporting its products to Russia. And “Shamshodbek-Imronbek” considers a significant part of this success to be the result of its cooperation with the “IFODA” company. They are very pleased with the work of agronomists working with them and the quality of the factory’s preparations. “IFODA” agronomist Zafar Shiraliyev, who works with the farm, says this:

– In the first fifteen days of the cabbage seedlings planted on 5 hectares of land on the farm, we sprayed them with “IFO MIS ULTRA” and “VL 77” fertilizers and preparations, increasing their resistance to diseases in the heat. We paid more attention to foliar feeding during the season. Thanks to foliar feeding, the yield was high, and the finished product was of high quality. Currently, the farm produces 7-8 tons of first-grade cauliflower per hectare, selling it for 7-8 thousand per kilogram. Also, 20-25 centners of second- and third-grade cauliflower per hectare are grown and exported to Russia. They are very pleased with the cooperation with the IFODA company. Thanks to their constant cooperation with us and the timely provision of the necessary drugs, a high-quality and abundant harvest is guaranteed. In particular, our VL-77 drug saved cabbage crops from severe frost in November.

At a recent videoconference meeting, the Head of State emphasized the need to establish a cluster system in fruit and vegetable growing. It was noted that attracting entrepreneurs with many years of experience in the field and having an infrastructure for storing and processing products would be beneficial. However, it would not hurt to work with entrepreneurs to use fertilizers that protect crops and plants and ensure a bountiful and high-quality harvest. IFODA is always happy to help you with this.
