In agriculture, the demand for fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium is very high. Therefore, the Ifoda company aims to open a separate enterprise for the production of NPK fertilizers in the Turakurgan district of the Namangan region in order to meet the needs of farmers and peasants in our republic for such fertilizers. The enterprise is planned to be commissioned by September.

Yesterday, the governor of the Namangan region, Khairullo Bozorov, visited this production workshop and got acquainted with the work activities here, production volumes, expected results, and future prospects of the enterprise. During the meeting, the governor called this production workshop “an enterprise that has no analogues in Uzbekistan.” Of course, there is a good reason for this. Because the products produced here undergo intensive laboratory testing, and the composition of fertilizers is planned to be changed depending on the fertility, conditions and characteristics of the soil in the regions, and the necessary elements will be added accordingly.

It should be noted that this enterprise is a $ 3 million investment project, and it is expected to produce 100 thousand tons of NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) and mineral fertilizers containing microelements per year. These products will not only supply the local market, but also foreign countries, in particular Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, are already showing interest.

All construction work has been completed, only now the production of products, adjustment of equipment and technologies, and placement of equipment remain, - says Sanjar Hakimov, director of the Ifoda plant. - After the launch of this enterprise, it is planned to create 30 new jobs at the initial stage. This can be expanded further. If we are lucky, we plan to export up to 50 percent of our products.

Once the enterprise is launched, the annual export potential is expected to be $25 million.
