On February 21, at the International Hotel Tashkent in Tashkent, an international conference was held on the initiative of the IFODA AGRO KIMYO HIMOYA company and in cooperation with the Uztokimachiliksanoat Association and Bio energy LTD, dedicated to the issues of improving plants and soils, introducing innovative technologies in agriculture, as well as the effective use of mineral fertilizers.

Within the framework of the international conference, scientists from leading international universities and independent researchers in the field of agriculture made interesting presentations on the topics of "Living soil and organic carbon: a center for soil improvement", "Soil microorganisms - the basis of sustainable agriculture", "Innovative technologies of plant science", as well as "Ways to increase the efficiency of mineral fertilizers in the conditions of Uzbek soils", and the participants discussed topical issues facing the industry.

The event was attended by Audryus Gegiatskas, Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology of the Center for Life Sciences of Vilnius University, Lithuania; Joel Williams, an independent teacher and consultant on plant and soil health from Australia; Vytautas Lalas, a teacher at the Faculty of Agronomy of Vytautas Magnus University; Jurakul Sattorov, an academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; as well as heads of agroclusters, farmers and peasants.

“The importance of the meeting is that we exchanged views with scientists who are well-versed in world agricultural knowledge. Today I have noted down in my notebook many new ideas that I need to implement in the future,” said Abdoolim Khidirov, a participant in the event, head of the Agrocluster “Silver leafe bmb agro trade group” in the Jizzakh region.

The participants of the conference also expressed their views on the importance of means of protecting crops from various pests, diseases and weeds.
