THE WORLD WILL BE BLESSED WITH SCIENCE.

The scientific approach is of great importance in the development of any industry. The Kashkadarya branch of the Scientific Research Institute of Grain and Legume Crops is effectively conducting scientific and practical research aimed at increasing grain yield and producing high-quality and abundant crops. This season, the institute's specialists have sown various varieties of wheat seeds and organized experimental and control field plots. Here, tests are being conducted using short-rotation crop rotation, planting grain in the ground at appropriate times, as well as using local fertilizers and other chemicals.

For the 2020 harvest, winter wheat rows are being tested in this field, - says Akbar ABDUAZIMOV, scientific secretary of the Scientific Research Institute of Grain and Legume Crops. – We mainly use the lines studied in the selection process to create heat- and drought-resistant varieties for the southern regions of our republic, as well as varieties resistant to yellow rust for irrigated areas. In addition, we are engaged in seed production of varieties discovered by us on an area of 11 hectares. Another main goal of our branch is to improve the agrotechnology of cereal and leguminous crops. In this regard, the norms and timing of sowing crops, as well as their requirements for nutrients, are studied.

The institute team is also conducting experiments with the Ifoda company, using its preparations. In a certain part of the area, seed grain was planted after being treated with the IFO SEED preparation. The next step is to use chemicals such as IFO-PZN and ANKASUPER to feed the remaining seedlings.

According to experts, wheat plants absorb only 28 percent of the fertilizer applied to the soil. However, when the suspension is applied to the leaves, this figure exceeds 70 percent. This means that the transfer of nutrients to the crop through the leaves is much more effective.
