ENTOPIK
ENTOPIK (sometimes also referred to as EN-TOPIK) is a special version of the TOPIK Korean language proficiency test designed for native English speakers. TOPIK, or Test of Proficiency in Korean, is the main standard for assessing Korean language proficiency administered by the South Korean Ministry of Education. The test is used to determine language proficiency in four areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. ENTOPIK is designed to make learning Korean easier for English speakers by adapting the tasks and wording to the English language and cultural context. The test is often used by students wishing to study in Korea and employees planning to work in Korean companies, as its results are accepted by many educational institutions and employers. Successful completion of ENTOPIK certifies that a person has sufficient Korean language proficiency for study or work, and helps ease the process of adaptation and integration into Korean society.
