Uniron (Novaluron 10% EC) is an insect growth regulator (IGR) insecticide with contact and ingestion activity, designed for effective control of immature stages of insect pests. It disrupts chitin synthesis, leading to failure of molting and death of larvae.

Provides long-lasting protection and is highly effective against resistant pest populations.

Mode of Action

Novaluron inhibits chitin biosynthesis — a critical component of the insect exoskeleton.

After exposure:

• chitin formation is disrupted

• cuticle development is inhibited

• larvae fail to molt

• death occurs during developmental stages

Effective mainly against:

• eggs (ovicidal activity)

• early larval stages
